Lenovo’s Ideapad U8 Powered by Intel’s Atom processor April 9, 2008
Lenovo has brought it’s Ideapad U8. It is powered by Intel’s Atom Processor. I have heard that this new UMPC features some Linux Applications. I guess this is a very good idea. I love to see it very soon. This slim device features a 4.8 inch touchscreen Display. It has got 12-key numeric pad. It is also equipped with an optical mouse called bullseye. The device also supports hand writing recognition. It has also got MS Office Applications. It supports web surfing also. The data is transferred over EDGE or 3G. The device also got a GPS and the company boasts of Live GPS feature. This Lenovo’s IdeaPad U8 was unveiled in Shanghai at Intel’s IDF.
